How to escape

What is Friday Escape?

Friday Escape is a free, single-player browser puzzle platformer set in a Colombo office. Your manager has one last file, your tuk-tuk is waiting, and you need to escape before 5 PM.

How long is a game?

There are two floors, each with a 30-second deadline. Escape Level 18, take the elevator, then cross the ground-floor lobby. The story and elevator transition do not use your escape time.

What are the controls?

Move with A/D or the left/right arrow keys. Jump with Space. Hold E or the down arrow to sneak or interact near an object. Press P to pause. On mobile, turn your phone to landscape and use the on-screen controls.

How do I get out?

Hide behind cover when the manager looks your way. Hold the interaction control beside the chair to roll it along the floor, release it, then use it to jump past the partition. Create a coffee distraction and reach the elevator. In the lobby, collect the visitor pass, unlock the speed gates and avoid the guard on your way to the exit.

Do I need an account or a download?

No account or download is required. Enter a display name or choose Play as guest. The game runs in a browser with JavaScript and WebGL support.

How does the leaderboard work?

Successful escapes can appear on the leaderboard. The fastest total escape time ranks first. Scores award 100 points per unused second, rounded to a whole number. The public board keeps the top 50 best browser/name profiles.

Who can enter the reload draw?

When entries are open, successful named players can submit their real name and a Sri Lankan mobile number they own. Guests and failed runs are not eligible. Details are checked manually, and Rs. 50 or Rs. 100 reloads are drawn randomly from verified entries. A win or high rank does not guarantee a gift.

Do I have to share on social media?

No. Sharing with #EscapeFridaygame is optional and does not improve your draw chances. Read the Terms and Privacy Policy before entering.
